Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Ability to stand sit or walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Willingness to follow company safety and security policies
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Commitment to high levels of guest service
- Ability to work full time in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Job Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Seat guests by finding a clean available table
- Pull out chairs and place clean or current menus in front of guests
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
- Move and arrange tables chairs and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs
- Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has necessary items like napkins and silverware
- Check menus to ensure they are current clean plentiful and wrinkle-free
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability service safety and guest well-being
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures and report accidents injuries and unsafe conditions
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality
- Welcome and acknowledge guests using company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Support team goals and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Stand sit or walk for extended periods
- Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
