Job Duties

  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to all guests
  • Clean and set tables and other related food service duties
  • Serve water, bread, and coffee and greet guests by name whenever possible
  • Stack trays properly for efficient server unloading and ensure safety standards at all times
  • Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, breaking down merchandise, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking items, locking refrigerators, turning off lights, and completing daily cleaning checklists
  • Set up, store, and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all porcelain, glass, and silverware prior to use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practice clean procedures during cleaning, and comply with health and safety standards
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Welcome and attend to all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and respond to guest service needs and sincerely thank guests
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to achieve common goals
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats
  • Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods including a full shift
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds unaided
  • Grip, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Navigate inclined, uneven, slippery surfaces and stairs or ramps
  • Reach above head and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and leaning
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
