Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Food and Beverage General Manager or similar role
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality and service
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficiency with reservation and scheduling systems

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food and beverage GM experience in a leadership role required, 2-3 years as restaurant GM preferred
  • Strong food, spirit, wine and beer knowledge
  • Understanding of luxury service standards, steps of service and luxury benchmarks
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • High integrity and work ethics
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage wine program and provide oversight and direction to sommelier team
  • Ability to manage, cocktail and bar program and manage Lead Bartender and team
  • Understanding of service vs. hospitality
  • Entrepreneurial mind set and drive to push Bourbon Steak activations and initiatives

Job Duties

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company, property and departmental policies and procedures
  • Talk with guests in a warm, professional manner to arrange their reservations
  • Coordinate special requests and follow up with Colleagues and Management teams
  • Balance operational, administrative, and Colleague needs
  • Maintain Open Table and 7-rooms on-line reservation system
  • Drive and adjust menu engineering based off sales and applicable industry trends
  • Work closely with culinary team to ensure a successful service and guest experience
  • Forecasting, scheduling and labor control
  • Beverage cost management
  • Establish working relationship with Concierge to ensure guests' needs are met
  • Works without supervision to ensure operation is running efficiently
  • Assist with preparation of Restaurant Event Orders as directed
  • Attend designated meetings
  • Assist with Silverware programming as Champion
  • Assist with obtaining designated Avero reports
  • Complete weekly potentials and Outlet Hours of Operations
  • Assist with Scores and Trust you response
  • Assist with TAS
  • Assist with ARM request as needed
  • Assist with corporate compliance in menus and practices
  • Assist with online menu accuracy as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
