Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of related work experience
- ability to operate kitchen appliances including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds
- adherence to company safety policies and procedures
- ability to maintain professional appearance
- capability to communicate clearly and effectively
- willingness to participate in safety training and obtain necessary certifications

Job Duties
- Prepare banquet plates and trays
- prepare cold dishes
- operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare dishes
- prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing
- cook and prepare food
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- monitor food quality during preparation and throughout the day
- test dishes to ensure proper cooking
- ensure food quality and notify manager of any products not meeting standards
- clean and sanitize kitchen area, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- set up and divide workstations
- check and ensure appliance and food temperatures are correct
- comply with all safety policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- participate in safety training and obtain certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company property
- greet guests according to company standards
- anticipate and meet guest service needs
- communicate professionally with colleagues and on the phone
- cultivate and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to achieve common goals
- ensure quality expectations and standards are met
- stretch, bend, twist, squat, stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
