Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in a high volume, full service restaurant
  • independently resolves complex workplace challenges, escalating only the most difficult issues, while maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure
  • demonstrates deep subject matter expertise and effectively leads, coaches, and mentors others
  • communicates clearly, evaluates options promptly, and actively listens to address concerns from colleagues and guests

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in high volume, full service restaurant
  • proven leadership and team management skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • experience in menu creation and food presentation
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to handle workplace challenges with composure and objectivity

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and team members warmly with a positive attitude
  • rally and motivate the kitchen team to ensure optimal performance
  • maintain Aimbridge Hospitality’s safety and quality standards in the kitchen
  • lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to foster skill development and teamwork
  • manage kitchen budget, inventory, and food costs efficiently
  • create banquet menus and design appealing food presentations for plating and buffets
  • ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
