Job Duties

  • Greet guests and help ensure a seamless flow through the restaurant and to arrange each reservation for each dining table
  • Lead the host stand with confidence, professionalism, and a warm presence to set the tone for exceptional guest experiences
  • Optimize reservation flow and table assignments to maximize cover counts and ensure efficient seating
  • Accommodate special requests with grace and attention to detail, ensuring personalized guest experiences
  • Taking over-the-phone orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling when appropriate
  • Sell gift cards with enthusiasm and accuracy, promoting them as ideal options for celebrations and thoughtful gestures
  • Answer phones with warmth and professionalism, assisting guests with reservations and inquiries
  • Inspect work areas for cleanliness
  • Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and respond well to questions
  • Uphold service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
  • Maintain and uphold our company's vision and values
  • Demonstrate a passion for details and a willingness to learn
  • Take part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
  • Participate in service/culinary education sessions
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to continue to learn and grow
