Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong reading and mathematical skills
  • Ability to adapt easily to change
  • Ability to troubleshoot and suggest corrective actions
  • Familiarity with applicable codes for pressure vessels and high-pressure steam operations
  • Knowledge of refrigeration technology
  • Ability to operate material management equipment
  • Ability to maintain safety awareness and adhere to safety policies
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, kneel, and lift occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform duties in hazardous environments following safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with strong reading and mathematical skills
  • College coursework or technical school training in science, electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation field preferred
  • Ability to adapt easily to change and demonstrate flexibility and cooperation
  • Ability to troubleshoot and suggest corrective actions
  • Familiar with applicable codes and practices for pressure vessels and high-pressure steam operations
  • Knowledge of refrigeration technology
  • Good organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient understanding of chemistry and biological requirements for wastewater treatment
  • Ability to operate material management equipment

Job Duties

  • Perform boiler operations including fire tube and water tube boilers and air compressor operations and cooling tower system operations
  • Monitor water treatment systems including softened water and mixed bed deionized water systems
  • Perform chiller operations to ensure supply to production
  • Operate the site’s industrial wastewater treatment system in compliance with permits
  • Manage and maintain compliance of permits and safety requirements
  • Monitor and operate site’s fire system
  • Maintain security awareness and be the first point of contact for emergencies
  • Identify, correct, and report hazards
  • Enter confined spaces for inspections and repairs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
