Job Requirements
- Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and customer relations
- Able to serve alcohol if required by store license
- Tuberculosis clearance if applicable
- Appropriate state's Food Handlers Card if applicable
- Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to work at least 35 hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to work weekend shifts
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs and move up to 50lbs continuously
- Ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
- Ability to load and unload trash compactor

Job Duties
- Complies with all company policies and procedures
- Maintains kitchen cleanliness and organization consistently
- Ensures proper sanitation of the kitchen area according to company standards
- Works with management to keep the restaurant's interior and exterior clean
- Ensures customer satisfaction with their dining experience daily
- Demonstrates and enforces proper customer service standards
- Handles complaints professionally and notifies management of any issues
- Attends pre/post-shift briefings and scheduled meetings
- Learns and becomes competent in all duty stations
- Performs all essential BOH staff functions including prep cook, sushi cook, fry cook, dishwasher
- Operates all back-of-house stations efficiently
- Prepares food according to recipes, procedures, and standards
- Maintains food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Rotates food products using FIFO method
- Completes opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- Assists with storing and organizing deliveries
- Follows safe stock levels
- Reports BOH operational issues to management
- Checks and works all scheduled shifts
- Notifies management of personnel changes
- Attends mandatory staff meetings
- Complies with OSHA, food, and sanitation requirements
