Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED certificate required
  • Food Safety, State Alcohol and ServSafe Manager certification required
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years as a shift lead or sous chef experience preferred
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak time
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds at times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Food Safety certification
  • State Alcohol certification
  • ServSafe Manager certification
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Minimum of 2 years as a shift lead or sous chef experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate team effectively
  • Ability to maintain high-performance standards under direction

Job Duties

  • Assist the KM or GM to provide direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH cast members including food preparation and production, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
  • Ensure the freshness of food products through proper product rotation and quality control
  • Check food storage and temperatures daily, record the temperatures on the log sheet, and notify maintenance of any issues
  • Communicate, implement, and follow up on all changes for food products and kitchen systems and procedures if applicable
  • Perform daily opening, mid and closing operation duties
  • Attend training for new menu items and train kitchen team members on proper preparation of new menu items
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
