Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Ability to stand for entire shifts
Capacity to work in high temperatures
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Effective team communication skills
Reliability and punctuality

Job Qualifications

Experience in barbecue cooking or smoking meats
Knowledge of food safety protocols
Ability to operate and maintain smoker equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work early mornings and physically demanding shifts
Effective communication skills
Capacity to work independently after training

Job Duties

Start the smokers early to ensure readiness by 5:00 AM
Handle raw meats following strict food safety guidelines
Build and maintain optimal fire conditions for consistent smoking
Follow recipes and incorporate feedback to improve product quality
Adapt to daily restaurant needs including managing multiple smokers or different proteins
Load and unload smokers and organize storage areas
Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations
