Job Requirements

  • Experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high volume upscale restaurant
  • Ability to execute menu items from start to finish including preparation of ingredients butchery cooking and plating
  • Capability to work collaboratively with back-of-house and front-of-house staff
  • Maintaining cleanliness and participating in deep cleaning of work areas
  • Supportive team player fostering positive work environment
  • Physical ability to meet demands including lifting up to 50 pounds standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills continuously

Job Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of experience as a Line Cook Chef de Partie or similar role in a high volume upscale restaurant
  • Proven ability to successfully work each station
  • Ability to train new Line Cooks on each station
  • Proven track record of dependability focus on learning and development
  • History of consistently fulfilling all role responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Execute menu items from start to finish including preparation of ingredients butchery of proteins cooking and plating of menu items
  • Participate in the preparation and development of new menu items
  • Hone existing skills while learning new techniques and building skill set
  • Work collaboratively with back-of-house staff and front-of-house staff
  • Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house work areas including refrigeration cooking equipment and prep areas
  • Participate in deep cleaning of back-of-house work areas
  • Support other team members and foster a positive work environment
