Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication and teamwork abilities
Job Duties
- Set up buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards
- maintain food temperature logs and portion control standards
- operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- store, label and date all food items according to policy and follow HACCP guidelines
- complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required
- comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
- complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- resolve customer concerns
- perform other duties as assigned
