Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bakery or pastry environment preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity and artistic skill
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends or holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- Passion for decorating and producing cakes
- Ability to learn and demonstrate proper confectionary techniques
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Previous experience in baking or pastry arts preferred
- Attention to detail and aesthetic presentation
Job Duties
- Responsible for scaling, decorating and producing of all desserts, pastries and cakes
- General knowledge of production methods and organization of confectionary production
- Learn new products and skills and has ability to demonstrate proper techniques to back of house team
- Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of workstation
- Must be able to manage time and skills with strong organization
- Knowledge of all recipes and procedures of all production
- Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
- Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low
- Perform other related duties as assigned
