Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred but not required
- ability to follow detailed written instructions
- good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capacity to work early morning or overnight shifts
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene practices
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- willing to comply with all safety regulations

Job Duties
- Measure and mix ingredients into dough according to a recipe
- observe all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment
- operate and monitor mixing equipment, scales, and meters according to established standards and procedures
- ensure all ingredients are set up prior to start of production to aid in efficiency of production
- accurately weigh and measure ingredients and materials, making manual adjustments if necessary
- place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in oven
- observe products while cooking and adjust controls as needed
- use exact measurements and pay strict attention to timing
- load ingredients into mixing machine
- mix icings and other toppings and decorate the cookies
- use a variety of kitchen tools including electric mixers, pans, rolling pins, and cutting tools
- stay organized and focused on work at all times
- check and ensure quantities being produced match orders and properly store orders
- be innately creative and communicate ideas to Executive Chef
- stay alert for signs of ingredient spoilage or substandard quality
- organize station before leaving workplace including floor bins and grains
- know all safety buttons and shut offs within work area
- print all orders from OUTLOOK and add to standing order
