Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year related experience or training
  • knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • proficiency in computer systems
  • physical ability to perform job duties including occasional lifting up to 10 pounds

Job Duties

  • Post final charges on completed repair orders
  • verify proper operation and warranty damage codes
  • understand and apply manufacturer warranty policies
  • enter applicable labor operation and failure codes
  • record technician hours for performed operations
  • document and collect deductibles at vehicle delivery
  • communicate with parts and technicians to verify charges
  • enter and revise repair information in computer system
  • prepare and deliver repair orders for billing
  • obtain management authorization for policy charges and discounts
  • act as back up to front desk and cashier
  • scan closed repair orders
  • issue purchase orders and process vendor invoices
  • utilize Client Concern Resolution process
  • adhere to company privacy and information security policies
  • attend weekly department meetings
  • assist with accounting schedules and accounts receivable
  • collaborate with Body Shop Director to review business and increase profitability
  • open and close repair orders
  • build reports for supervisors
  • book and close tickets
  • perform other duties as assigned
