Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- ability to pass background check
- physical ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- excellent communication skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand or walk 100 percent of shift
- can reach, bend, stoop frequently
- able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to speak, read and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
- complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
- complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
- ability to work flexible hours
- work in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food and drink running, etc as needed
- be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus and items, current food and drink promotions and specials, and answer guests questions verbally and clearly
- accurately enter orders into POS system
- retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- collect guests payments including credit cards, cash, or gift cards and ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change in a timely manner
- perform shift changes, opening and closing duties, assigned sidework
- pack and verify all to-go orders with guests
- greet guests at the curbside pickup area
