Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a fine dining or similar environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Must obtain STAR and Food Handlers certifications before start date
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • DRA experience in a fine dining environment is preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests, management, and co-workers, with the ability to answer guest questions and describe menu items
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service, service recovery, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, Saturdays, and holidays
  • Must have STAR and Food Handlers certifications prior to start date

Job Duties

  • Follow, enforce, comply, and adhere to all Omni Louisville Hotel and Bob’s Steak & Chop House rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes always
  • Service all guests in the dining room and contribute to a positive, memorable guest experience
  • Properly set up the entire restaurant
  • Completely understand and execute bussing standards
  • Completely understand the menu
  • Promptly and accurately deliver food and beverages to all sections of the restaurant and bar
  • Be friendly and helpful with all guests, use surnames whenever possible
  • Comply with food handling standards
  • Inspect one’s station in the restaurant to ensure it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation
  • Complete station set-up and breakdown/side-work, as well as all other assigned duties by the restaurant manager before checking out/clocking out
