Job Duties
- ensure all food is prepared and served consistently according to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
- oversee inventory orders and deliveries to maintain food quality
- manage food costs through standard recipes and waste control
- collaborate with general manager to plan and price menu items
- establish portion sizes and prepare standard recipe cards for new menus
- create departmental rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and friendly work environment
- administer corrective actions for workplace violations
