Job Duties

  • provide impeccable customer service by following service foundation principles
  • answer all incoming calls, respond to voicemails and emails
  • make boarding reservations, book grooming, training, and temperament test appointments
  • manage cash, check, and credit card transactions and reporting/reconciling
  • get to know clients and their pet's names on a regular basis
  • obtain all information related to a pet's visit and ensure accuracy
  • input all information into resort computer systems
  • interact and communicate closely with other staff to address client and pet needs
  • have general knowledge of all services offered and provide solutions to client needs
  • obtain vaccination records from veterinary offices and input into the computer
  • assist in managing waitlists during weekends, peak seasons, and holidays
  • act as liaison between veterinarian and customer/emergency contact
  • initiate "white glove" treatment to best customers by securing early reservations
  • respond promptly and troubleshoot customer relations issues
  • ensure facility cleanliness and safety
  • notify manager on duty or order inventory for retail, cleaning products, and office supplies
  • ensure common areas are well maintained and hazard-free
  • consult with other departments
  • perform other duties as assigned
