Job Description
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is a well-established nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people and providing them with a safe and nurturing environment. As part of their extensive community services, they operate the Blue Door Kitchen, which offers a unique food experience by providing in-house hot meals daily to their members. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- certified in Food Safety with the State of Texas or ability to pass certification
- ability to work during regular business and program hours
- ability to be a positive role model
- ability to be patient
- ability to establish rapport and build relationships
- ability to follow instructions
- ability to operate a vehicle safely and responsibly
- must be dependable and punctual
- must be able to obtain Food Handler certification
- must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- must pass agency background and drug screens
- must have valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- ability to follow instructions and work during regular business hours

- CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain

- valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- bilingual preferred
- experience driving mid to large-sized vehicles preferred
- knowledge of Boys & Girls Club movement preferred
Job Duties
- Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance
- follow assigned routes and schedules
- pack food according to procedures and standards
- load food into the vehicle
- deliver food timely while maintaining proper temperature
- assist with kitchen cleaning and organization
- communicate with kitchen staff
- adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- report incidents and complete documentation
- maintain discipline and de-escalate conflicts
- complete administrative reports and data entry accurately
- utilize communication tools effectively
- serve as a positive role model
- maintain good emotional control under pressure
- represent the organization positively
- ensure regular attendance and punctuality
