Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to follow safety and food safety guidelines
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to use Warehouse Management Systems and related software is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, RedZone Operations Software and handheld devices is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read and write in English
  • Solid math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA requirements and safety standards for operating material handling equipment
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, squatting, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling on occasion
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Blend raw material products according to production batch records
  • Use batch sheets and follow mixing instructions to blend products, visually check materials and item numbers, enter lot numbers and quantities for each batch, record blending time
  • Follow GMP and HAACP guidelines to ensure food safety rules are met
  • Complete batch sheets according to Good Documentation Practices
  • Follow departmental SOPs/forms and support general housekeeping efforts
  • Help maintain a safe working environment by complying with company and state regulations
  • Operate standard warehouse equipment including manual and electric pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks while following OSHA regulations
  • Be a team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
