Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety and food safety guidelines
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to use Warehouse Management Systems and related software is a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, RedZone Operations Software and handheld devices is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read and write in English
- Solid math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Thorough understanding of OSHA requirements and safety standards for operating material handling equipment
- Able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, squatting, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling on occasion
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Blend raw material products according to production batch records
- Use batch sheets and follow mixing instructions to blend products, visually check materials and item numbers, enter lot numbers and quantities for each batch, record blending time
- Follow GMP and HAACP guidelines to ensure food safety rules are met
- Complete batch sheets according to Good Documentation Practices
- Follow departmental SOPs/forms and support general housekeeping efforts
- Help maintain a safe working environment by complying with company and state regulations
- Operate standard warehouse equipment including manual and electric pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks while following OSHA regulations
- Be a team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
