Job Requirements
- at least one year food service or barista experience
- willingness to obtain RBS alcohol awareness certification within 30 days of employment
- willingness to obtain a valid current food handlers card within 30 days of employment
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards
- ability and willingness to work varying schedules including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
Job Qualifications
- at least one year food service or barista experience, preferably in a hotel or resort environment
- obtained or willing to obtain (within 30 days of employment) RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) alcohol awareness certification
- obtained or willing to obtain a valid current food handlers card within 30 days of employment
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards of comparable hotel, guest relations, and etiquette
- willingness and ability to work varying schedules including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
Job Duties
- help guests select food and beverages by providing information about available selections
- describe and upsell food and beverage items to maximize profitability
- prepare quality products including coffee and non-coffee beverages with the use of an espresso machine, blenders and other equipment assisting in beverage preparation
- operate a cash register and receives payments from customers in cash, credit card, or room accounts
- accurately count and provide change to customers as required
- balance all payment methods with accuracy to the sales report
