Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous serving experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a restaurant serving role preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling payments
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an advantage
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them
  • Inform guests of specials and feature items
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions and services
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them in the point-of-sale system
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
  • Run food orders from the pick-up window promptly regardless of which server placed the order
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned
  • Maintain clean service areas
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any guest requests
  • Pre-bus tables frequently
  • Prepare bill and present check to guests at appropriate point in service sequence
  • Clean and reset tables promptly, including chairs, booths and surrounding carpet
  • Assist fellow servers as situations arise
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
  • Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operation as directed by manager or supervisor
