Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant serving role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them
- Inform guests of specials and feature items
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions and services
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them in the point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Run food orders from the pick-up window promptly regardless of which server placed the order
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned
- Maintain clean service areas
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience and ensure guest satisfaction
- Respond promptly and courteously to any guest requests
- Pre-bus tables frequently
- Prepare bill and present check to guests at appropriate point in service sequence
- Clean and reset tables promptly, including chairs, booths and surrounding carpet
- Assist fellow servers as situations arise
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operation as directed by manager or supervisor
