Job Duties

  • Supervise Bistro staff to ensure teamwork and optimum guest service
  • Perform all duties and positions within the Bistro area
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setup, cleaning, and securing the facility
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness
  • Conduct inventories and requisition necessary supplies
  • Monitor dining room seating availability, service, safety, and guest wellbeing
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
  • Serve as a role model and first contact for fair treatment and open door policy
  • Enforce company and safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, respond to employee concerns
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify improvements for efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings
