Job Duties
- Supervise Bistro staff to ensure teamwork and optimum guest service
- Perform all duties and positions within the Bistro area
- Complete opening and closing duties including setup, cleaning, and securing the facility
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness
- Conduct inventories and requisition necessary supplies
- Monitor dining room seating availability, service, safety, and guest wellbeing
- Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Serve as a role model and first contact for fair treatment and open door policy
- Enforce company and safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others
- Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, respond to employee concerns
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify improvements for efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings
