Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of back-of-house restaurant experience
- Ability to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 250 pounds
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
Job Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of back-of-house restaurant experience
- Leadership skills with ability to train and coach associates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards
- Ability to manage inventory and minimize food waste
- Problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Assign and direct kitchen associates to maximize productivity and minimize waste
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring they perform according to brand or hotel standards and HHM core values
- Inspect daily use records with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to ensure accuracy and adherence to estimates
- Pull all food needed for daily production from walk-in box and utilize all leftovers
- Attend all associates meetings, propose solutions for associate problems, and promote effective communication among kitchen production areas
- Maintain and supervise housekeeping practices and enforce the ‘clean as you go’ policy
- Inspect all workstations including the associates’ cafeteria
- Prepare daily production charts
- Support quality assurance improvements
- Encourage and develop upselling strategies to achieve financial success
- Implement incentive programs to support departmental goals
- Follow sustainability guidelines under HHM’s EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as requested by management
