Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to routinely bend and lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to remain stationary and move around the cafe for prolonged periods
  • Obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire
  • Obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in a fast casual or full-service restaurant environment preferred
  • Ability to prepare food according to specific recipes
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety best practices
  • ServSafe certification required within 90 days of hire
  • CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Adhere to daily bistro needs including stocking supplies and maintaining kitchen safety
  • Maintain cleanliness of LifeCafe and kitchen areas including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and washing dishes
  • Manage food production flow in coordination with sandwich and salad stations
  • Follow recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and ingredient quality
  • Support food safety standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive, efficient work environment
  • Monitor kitchen inventory and report needs to management
