Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- accurately and quickly take, enter, prepare and deliver guest orders according to standards
- respond to guest needs and provide the highest level of quality service
- assist other associates as needed to meet guest's needs
- operate Micros operating system and cash register effectively
- follow all cash handling/POS procedures to ensure accurate closing of guest checks
- answer questions about menu items, specials, and prices
- be familiar with preparation methods and ingredients to meet guest dietary/allergy questions
- actively up-sell food and beverage items to maximize revenue
- monitor and replenish stock of prepared menu items
- prepare all food in a timely manner and operate the Turbo Chef according to standards
- brew coffee and prepare coffee/other drinks according to specific recipes
- assist bartender when necessary with serving alcoholic beverages and follow local liquor laws
- dispose of garbage, pick up trays, re-stock dishes on the line, and clear/wipe down tables and counters
- transfer full dish tubs to the dish room and assist as needed with washing dishes
- complete all required paperwork accurately and timely
- assist with inventory and complete inventory par sheets
- maintain a clean and safe work area and handle all food/beverage in compliance with regulations
- assist in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of the Bistro, kitchen, and dish room
- follow all appropriate procedures for guest/associate incidents
- produce required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties
- adhere to grooming and appearance standards and work rules
- attend all required meetings
- complete all required side work and take initiative to assist wherever necessary
- work as a team player and actively contribute to the success of the Bistro experience
- may be responsible for set-up, maintenance, and take down of banquet areas according to function specifications
- provide food and beverage service to clients in business or social functions in a friendly manner
