Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior food service experience is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare and heat approved bistro food items according to established recipes and procedures
  • Serve food and beverages with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Accurately take orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system
  • Handle and store all food items according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bistro environment
  • Assist the dietary department in the main kitchen as needed
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies
  • Organize and restock bistro items as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
