Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Prior experience in food service preferred
- Must adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- Responsible and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Prior food service experience preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions
Job Duties
- Prepare and heat approved bistro food items according to established recipes and procedures
- Serve food and beverages with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Accurately take orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system
- Handle and store all food items according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines (ServSafe principles)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bistro environment
- Assist the dietary department in the main kitchen as needed
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies
- Organize and restock bistro items as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
