Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service management preferred
  • ServSafe Manager certification
  • Allergen training
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant food service laws and regulations
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time day shift with rotating weekends and holidays

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, develop, implement, and interpret program goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of food service laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff

Job Duties

  • Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the functioning of the Bistro and its programs
  • Prepare and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Assist in coordinating food-related activities with other departments
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing written Bistro policies and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, evaluations, and studies to assure control of equipment and supplies
  • Assist in the supervision of Bistro personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
