  • Experience using OpenTable or similar reservation software
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and warmly
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-in guests using OpenTable
  • Escort guests to tables and present menus
  • Maintain an organized and clean host stand and lobby area
  • Communicate wait times clearly and accurately
  • Monitor dining room flow and seat guests to balance server sections
  • Answer telephone calls professionally and assist with guest inquiries
  • Take and manage take-out and room service orders
  • Work closely with management and service staff to ensure efficient service
  • Follow all company, departmental, and health and safety policies
  • Perform opening, closing, and side duties as assigned
  • Promote a positive and cooperative team environment
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance
