Job Duties
- Serve ice water or coffee upon greeting the table
- present menu and suggest dinner courses and appropriate wines
- answer questions regarding food preparation
- write or memorize orders
- relay orders to kitchen or bar
- serve courses from kitchen and service bars
- garnish and decorate dishes before serving
- serve patrons from dishes at the table when needed
- observe diners to fulfill additional requests and detect when meal is finished
- total the bill and accept payment or direct patron to cashier
- replenish supplies and prepare for next meal
- greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- perform other duties as assigned
