Job Requirements

  • Open availability including days, nights and weekends required
  • Ability to work holiday coverage with flexibility to take alternate days off
  • Physical ability to perform cooking duties
  • Experience in high volume kitchen environments
  • Completion of an on-site cooking assessment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of cooking experience in a high volume restaurant or bistro environment
  • Knowledge of sanitation, cooking methods such as sauteing and grilling, and knife skills
  • Culinary Arts Degree preferred
  • Local board of Health ServSafe Certification preferred
  • 2+ years of cooking experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Physically delivering a food product according to the restaurant's standards
  • Conducting oneself and work in a clean and safe manner, maintaining a professional atmosphere at all times
  • Meeting any special requests presented by guests
  • Preparing the dishes with creative flair
  • Being knowledgeable of ingredients used in foods to comply with a customer's specific dietary requirements
