Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one or more years of cook experience
- ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to walk, stand, bend, carry, and lift continuously during shifts
- proficiency in English for communication
- ServSafe training and certification or ability to obtain local food safety certifications
- willingness to follow CSM/Marriott procedures and policies
Job Qualifications

- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain local food safety certifications
- one or more years of previous cook experience
- ability to speak, understand, and write English
- demonstrated exemplary customer service skills
- ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of Marriott/CSM grooming and appearance standards
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook Courtyard Bistro food items according to CSM/Marriott standards
- complete all prep work for Bistro items based on hotel occupancy levels
- adhere to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste
- follow menu specifications and proper production/plate set-up
- operate kitchen equipment and supplies properly
- expedite food items to Bistro Attendant in a timely manner
- greet guests courteously and handle guest orders efficiently
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- assist with inventory and complete inventory par sheets
- follow cash handling and POS procedures accurately
- handle guest/associate incidents per procedure
- attend all required meetings and adhere to attendance policy
- complete assigned tasks including occasional serving and bartending duties
- work collaboratively as a team player to ensure Bistro success
