Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months bartending experience
- Ability to obtain TIPS, ALE and other related training
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Basic math skills
- Ability to create/follow recipes using proper mixology techniques
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends
- Physical ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Willingness to comply with state liquor regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Additional training/certification(s) preferred
- Ability to obtain TIPS, ALE and other related training required
- Minimum of six months experience bartending
- Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience
- Basic math skills
- Ability to create/follow recipes using proper mixology techniques
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering world class internal/external guest service
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Must be able to engage with wide variety of guests and interact in a friendly and professional manner
- Proactive, exercises good judgment
- Can creatively problem solve and anticipate needs of guests
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on quality and service
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge about Biltmore, special activities/events, and Asheville and surrounding areas
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Serve food and beverages in a friendly, efficient manner according to standards
- Keep bar and public areas neat, clean, and free of debris at all times
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Resolve guest complaints/issues to standards, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Make sure area(s) are properly stocked, prepped, and set
- Perform opening/closing duties/responsibilities as assigned
- Create alcoholic beverages in a timely manner following approved recipes
