Job Requirements

  • Two years of food service experience in a casual dining environment or related experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work part-time approximately 8 hours per week
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of food service experience in a casual dining environment or related experience
  • Ability to operate POS systems
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a food preparation area
  • Basic inventory management skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and sell a variety of coffee drinks
  • Follow recipes and preparation techniques for espresso, cafe latte, cappuccino and other types of coffee drinks
  • Prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas and salads
  • Prepare grab and go items such as sandwiches, salads and various snack items
  • Operate POS system to process orders and charge accounts
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Bistro and work areas throughout the day
  • Wash and sanitize Bistro dishes
  • Sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
  • Maintain inventories by ensuring coffee bean and brewing supplies are replenished
  • Assist with ordering inventory by monitoring supplies and equipment
  • Notify Executive Chef of expected shortages
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested
