Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of food and beverage service experience
- ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to multitask and handle stress during busy periods
- ability to frequently stand, walk, reach, kneel, bend, stoop and crouch
- ability to use hands for food preparation and sanitation
- ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- good near and far vision
- must be able to communicate effectively
- ability to distinguish smells
- duties mainly performed indoors
- ability to hear moderate noise levels
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Presents menu and answers questions
- takes order for food and beverage
- utilizes suggestive selling techniques and follows brand steps of service
- checks with guest regularly to ensure satisfaction and performs guest service recovery when needed
- computes bill in MICROS and processes payment
- tracks sales receipts and counts bank at beginning and end of shift
- completes designated reports and resolves discrepancies
- ensures complete knowledge of Bistro food and hot beverage standards, preparation methods, ingredients and quality standards according to recipe
- operates ovens, microwaves, espresso machine and other kitchen equipment
- ensures knowledge of liquor brands, beer and wine selections, recipes and garnishments per Bistro standards
- sets up, breaks down and cleans all front and back of house areas
- clears and cleans tables, countertops, silverware and dinnerware
- sweeps and vacuums floors
- removes and disposes of garbage
- cleans, services and breaks down meeting rooms including food and beverage setup according to Banquet Event Orders
- delivers orders to guestrooms as requested
- performs additional duties and projects as assigned
