Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Welcome and connect with every customer
  • Discover customer needs and make recommendations
  • Be incredibly friendly and customer centric
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and hotel services
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • Prepare coffee barista drinks and specialty food orders
  • Perform opening, closing, and running side work duties
  • Maintain a clean and organized work and service area
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
  • Prepare final bills and process payments
  • Follow hotel cash handling procedures
  • Use guest recovery model for incidents
  • Maintain friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Collaborate with team members and offer assistance
  • Complete food safety and alcohol service certification
  • Handle carrying of multiple plates
  • Fill in as needed for smooth bistro operations
  • Report cleaning or equipment problems
  • Fill out maintenance work orders timely
  • Follow hotel emergency and safety procedures
  • Adhere to hotel quality assurance standards
  • Properly administer guest keys
  • Manage lost and found items
  • Accommodate guest special requests
  • Provide information about hotel and local area
  • Perform reasonable management requests
