Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service standards
- Comfortable using POS systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to undergo training for certifications
Job Duties
- Welcome and connect with every customer
- Discover customer needs and make recommendations
- Be incredibly friendly and customer centric
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and hotel services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Prepare coffee barista drinks and specialty food orders
- Perform opening, closing, and running side work duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work and service area
- Ensure guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
- Prepare final bills and process payments
- Follow hotel cash handling procedures
- Use guest recovery model for incidents
- Maintain friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Collaborate with team members and offer assistance
- Complete food safety and alcohol service certification
- Handle carrying of multiple plates
- Fill in as needed for smooth bistro operations
- Report cleaning or equipment problems
- Fill out maintenance work orders timely
- Follow hotel emergency and safety procedures
- Adhere to hotel quality assurance standards
- Properly administer guest keys
- Manage lost and found items
- Accommodate guest special requests
- Provide information about hotel and local area
- Perform reasonable management requests
