Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ServSafe certification
- Allergen training
- Starbucks Barista training
- Ability to work part-time with flexible schedule
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and dietary regulations in nursing care centers

- Knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff
Job Duties
- Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating the functioning of the Bistro, its programs, and activities
- Prepare, cook and deliver an epic food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction
- Assist in the coordination with food related activities with other departments
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors
- Encourage a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving
- Adhere to food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff
