Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event hosting preferred
  • Experience working with children or in a recreational setting is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing, energetic personality with a passion for creating fun experiences
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with guests for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Must be comfortable working in environments with loud noise, bright lights, and large groups of children
  • Work is performed in a lively, family-oriented entertainment or water park setting
  • May involve working weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on party schedules

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist birthday families and guests upon arrival
  • Serve as the primary host for the party, managing the schedule and flow of activities
  • Communicate clearly with parents, children, and guests to ensure all needs are met
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, energetic, and professional attitude
  • Prepare the party area before each event, including decorations, table settings, and supplies
  • Ensure food, beverages, and cake are presented according to party standards
  • Clean and reset the party space promptly after each event to prepare for the next group
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all guest areas during the party
  • Lead games, activities, and entertainment to engage party guests and create a fun environment
  • Assist with the timing and coordination of activities, including meal service, cake cutting, and gift opening
  • Ensure safety and supervision of children during all activities
  • Follow all company safety policies and ensure guests adhere to park or facility rules
  • Report any safety concerns, accidents, or incidents to management immediately
  • Maintain a safe environment for all guests and staff members
  • Work collaboratively with food service, entertainment, and management teams to ensure seamless party execution
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedules, supplies, and any guest concerns
  • Participate in pre- and post-shift meetings to discuss event details and performance
  • Monitor inventory of party supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
  • Assist with other guest events or special programs as directed by management
  • Support overall facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas
