Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • ability to operate vacuum cleaners and cleaning equipment
  • good communication skills both verbal and written
  • ability to follow standard cleaning procedures
  • ability to work third shift
  • ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks
  • willingness to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or GED preferred
  • previous housekeeping or related field experience preferred
  • knowledge of supplies and equipment used in environmental services
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to efficiently dry and wet mop floors

Job Duties

  • perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, and offices
  • supply necessary items to patient rooms and other areas
  • clean floors in corridors and assigned spaces using dry and wet mopping techniques
  • operate vacuum cleaners and make beds
  • maintain cleanliness in accordance with environmental services procedures
  • communicate effectively with team members both verbally and in writing
  • adhere to health and safety standards during cleaning processes
