Job Requirements

  • Local to NE Austin, TX
  • Minimum 10 years of managerial safety experience in construction, industrial, or related environments
  • Spanish/English bilingual
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards, construction safety regulations, and safe work practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and educate diverse field teams
  • Ability to recognize hazards, assess risk, and develop effective corrective actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with safety management systems (e.g., Procore Safety, SiteDocs, or similar)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of managerial safety experience in construction, industrial, or related environments

Job Duties

  • Lead the implementation of the companys safety management system across all active construction sites
  • Develop, monitor, and continuously improve jobsite-specific safety plans and risk assessments
  • Provide guidance and training to site supervisors and workers on safety procedures, policies, and hazard recognition
  • Foster a culture of accountability and commitment to health and safety across all levels of the organization
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, Ministry of Labour, WSIB, WorkSafeBC)
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments
  • Document findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner
