Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years administrative or related experience
  • bilingual in Spanish with ability to read, write and communicate fluently
  • must pass agency provided verbal and written Spanish proficiency test with a score of 9 or higher
  • valid Oregon driver's license with vehicle and current insurance
  • ability to work effectively in a collaborative team
  • maintain confidentiality
  • ability to work in stressful, unstructured environments with a positive attitude
  • ability to type 60 words per minute with accuracy
  • ability to complete agency taught CPR/First Aid course
  • commitment to organization mission and values

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • fluent in Spanish reading, writing, and communication
  • ability to pass an agency provided Spanish proficiency test with a score of 9 or higher

Job Duties

  • Answer phones in a professional manner
  • greet clients and accept payments for services
  • perform data entry/typing and filing
  • assist staff in clerical functions as requested
  • open or close office as needed at main and satellite locations
  • receive and/or return telephone calls to Spanish speaking clients
  • review Spanish documents for accuracy
  • place appointment reminder calls in Spanish to Spanish speaking clients and families
  • participate in monthly Spanish supervision group and regular individual and group supervision in English
  • perform other duties as assigned
