Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years combined education and experience
  • high school diploma or GED
  • proficiency in English
  • ability to apply agency policies
  • excellent judgment, courtesy, and tact
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • capacity to manage multiple tasks
  • physical ability to use office equipment and lift up to 25 pounds
  • compliance with mandatory reporting and confidentiality policies
  • willingness to provide bilingual services if required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • preferred secretarial or office training
  • minimum of three years progressively responsible secretarial or office experience
  • ability to demonstrate bilingual proficiency if applicable
  • knowledge of agency policies and confidentiality rules
  • experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to operate standard office equipment

Job Duties

  • Complete general and financial clerical tasks
  • facilitate service provider payment
  • perform receptionist duties
  • establish and maintain logs, records, and files
  • maintain reception area and office supplies
  • facilitate confidence in Office Specialist 2 role and agency programs
  • protect consumers and reduce agency risk
  • provide excellent customer service in a professional manner
