Job Requirements

  • Must have at least one year of similar or related experience or 12 months in an MSR role

  • Proven relationship building skills and techniques

  • Must report to work punctually and work all scheduled hours
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be bondable
  • Must be registered pursuant to the S.A.F.E Act
  • Adheres to all state, federal and credit union regulations, policies, and guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of all credit union accounts and products
  • Proven ability to handle multiple functions quickly and accurately
  • High energy with strong sales ability and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment
  • Ability to maintain composure and problem solve
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Must be bondable
  • Must be registered pursuant to the S.A.F.E Act
  • Adherence to all state, federal, and credit union regulations, policies, and guidelines

Job Duties

  • Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision
  • Demonstrates a positive member service focus at all times, greeting members and guests with a smile and eye contact and thanking them for their business
  • Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in completing all duties and responsibilities
  • Ensures confidentiality of member information and account records
  • Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Asks questions, listens to members' needs, and offers solutions that best fit those needs
  • Acts as part of a cohesive team with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Profiles each member to uncover opportunities for additional business
  • Structures loan applications, works with underwriters, and adheres to lending policies and regulations
  • Makes weekly outbound sales calls to members
  • Performs all aspects of MSR position including balancing cash drawer daily and understanding credit union policies for cash, check handling, and identification
  • Builds member relationships by recognizing financial needs and referring to specialized departments
  • Participates in promotions, contests, and departmental activities supporting team goals
  • Responsible for sales of loan protection products
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of federal regulations concerning deposits
  • Performs vault duties including cash ordering, balancing, drawer audits, scheduling, and other assigned duties
  • Participates in community service organizations and Credit Union sponsored events to enrich the community
