Job Requirements

  • Fluent Spanish
  • Medical office background
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience in a medical clinic setting
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Tech savvy with EHR/EMRs and digital tools

Job Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Minimum 1 year medical front office experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HMO, PPO, and Medi-Cal plans preferred
  • Experience using electronic medical record systems
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Proficiency with Google Drive, Google Suite and AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude

Job Duties

  • Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Collect co-pays and balances
  • Manage patient intake forms and documentation
  • Process referrals and authorizations
  • Maintain accurate records within electronic medical systems
  • Coordinate with providers and clinical staff
  • Follow established office policies and procedures
