Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience
  • familiarity with medical office environments preferred
  • proficiency in using electronic health record systems
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • bilingual Arabic/English speaking preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • 1 year previous medical office experience preferred
  • strong communication skills both oral and written
  • must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask
  • bilingual Arabic/English speaking applicants highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Greeting every patient with a smile
  • completing and updating patients' insurance information with accuracy and efficiency
  • utilizing the electronic health record system to complete the registration process and facilitate patients' visits
  • completing the check-out process by assisting patients with scheduling future appointments and providing referral information as directed
  • verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing to a third-party vendor
  • collecting co-pays and deductibles as directed by billing policies
  • answering the appointment line and checking the email appointment request system
  • scheduling appointments for patients at office sites and/or diagnostic departments
  • maintaining a strong commitment to exceptional service ensuring professional, warm, and caring patient encounters
