Job Requirements
- minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- preferred minimum of two years of experience as a receptionist
- must be able to pass clerical skills tests
- must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- must have excellent telephone and interviewing skills
- must be organized and detail oriented
- must be computer literate and have knowledge of specific software packages and search engines
- proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel
- must have excellent time management and organizational skills
- must be able to handle multiple tasks
- must be able to adapt to new responsibilities
- must consistently maintain a professional demeanor while working with the general public
- must be able to keep information confidential when working with staff, clients and providers
- bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- greet and direct visitors courteously and knowledgeably
- monitor, control, screen and direct incoming telephone calls
- respond to basic requests from the public
- receive, sort, date stamp and distribute incoming mail
- assist with scanning of incoming documents received via mail and fax
- prepare and distribute correspondence and documents to staff
- occasionally perform receptionist duties for the Health and Human Services Department Community Engagement Suite
- perform miscellaneous other related duties as requested and assigned
