Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • documented flight experience including 2,500 Pilot-in-Command hours preferred
  • 500 turbine hours
  • commercial-instrument helicopter rating required
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • pass FAA flight check
  • pass TSA/FBI background check
  • participate in FAA drug and alcohol testing program
  • ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • ability to lift 35 pounds regularly
  • ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead
  • valid commercial pilot license
  • current medical certificate

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2,500 hours documented Pilot-in-Command hours preferred
  • 500 turbine hours required
  • Commercial-instrument Helicopter Rating
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong organizational skills
  • intermediate Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • valid commercial pilot license
  • current FAA Class II medical certificate

Job Duties

  • Ensure aircraft has all required documents and equipment on board prior to flight
  • check aircraft maintenance record logs and daily logs for current maintenance and defect corrections
  • perform proper preflight inspection in accordance with AFM and company policy
  • verify aircraft loading within weight and center of gravity limitations for takeoff and landing
  • review current weather, NOTAMS, PIREPS, and other flight information
  • brief passengers on boarding, in-flight, deplaning, and emergency procedures
  • file company or FAA flight plans for all flights including test, ferry, and training flights
  • maintain possession of valid FAA certifications, medical certificates, and government ID at all times
  • pass flight checks given by FAA or approved check pilot
  • perform other duties as assigned
