Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2,500 hours Pilot-in-Command hours preferred
- 500 turbine hours
- Commercial-instrument Helicopter Rating
- Valid Commercial Pilot License
- Current Class II medical certificate
- Valid government ID or driver’s license
- Passed flight check within past 12 months
- Clearance on TSA/FBI background check
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach over shoulders
- Participation in FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Travel up to 70 percent

- Current Class II flight physical with valid medical certificate
Job Duties
- Ensure aircraft registration and airworthiness certificate are on board
- Verify presence of AFM, daily logbook, and company GOM
- Confirm availability of current Hawaiian Island Sectional Aeronautical Chart and Pacific Chart Supplement
- Check that first aid kit, fire extinguisher, airsickness bags, and life jackets are stocked
- Review aircraft maintenance records and daily log sheets for compliance and repairs
- Conduct proper preflight inspection in accordance with AFM and company policy
- Ensure aircraft loading complies with center of gravity and weight limitations
- Check weather reports, NOTAMS, and PIREPS prior to flight
- Brief passengers on boarding, in-flight, deplaning, and emergency procedures
- File Company or FAA flight plans for all flights including test, ferry, and training flights
- Maintain personal possession of valid FAA Airline Transport rating or Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Hold valid FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
- Possess a valid government ID or driver’s license
- Pass flight checks by authorized personnel
- Adhere to additional duties as assigned
- Maintain regular scheduled attendance
- Travel up to 70 percent of the time
